Week 1 Film Production
Gargoyles, Bandits and Batman oh my! Yes-Film Production is in full swing wth 150 students participating in some form of story. The Genres range from Art House, Drama, Suspense, Horror, coming of age, cautionary tales and of course the obligatory boy meets girl. The Media Arts Lab is open Saturdays in February, and groups of kids come in and out, filming, editing, and being creative outside the confines of bells and acadmic rigor during school hours. Pleny or Pizza, Twizzlers and Snacks are available.
All films are due March 6th. The Student Film Fest will have two screenings. march 19th, Tuesday from 10:00 to 12:30, and a second screening on SUnday to be determined soon. Thanks for your support. Teach out anytime with questions or concerns. Sincerely: Mr. Hansen. phansen@sonomaschools.org
